Privacy Notice

Cromwell Associates is a trading name of Cromwell Bruckhaus Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14768031, with its registered office at 21–23 East Street, Fareham, Hampshire, PO16 0BZ, United Kingdom.

The enquiry form asks for very little. We collect what you type into it, together with the page the enquiry was sent from and, where present, a small allowlisted set of campaign parameters from the link you used. We do not record full referring URLs or query strings.

We do not ask for a date of birth, health or lifestyle information, details of your family or assets, estate or cover values, or a written description of your circumstances. If a specialist needs that kind of information later, they ask you for it directly.

• Your email address and/or telephone number, depending on how you would like to be contacted
• The service you are asking about, and optionally the county or area you are in
• Your preferred contact method and time, if you give them
• Whether you gave permission for us to respond, whether you separately opted in to marketing, the wording version you agreed to, and the time the enquiry was received

Enquiries submitted earlier may contain more than the list above, including answers given in the previous guided questionnaire and anything written in the old message box. Those records are kept as they were received and are not added to. If you would like an earlier record removed, email enquiries@cromwellcover.co.uk and we will review the request and respond.

We use your information to reply to your enquiry and to understand what you would like help with.

Cromwell Associates does not give advice, recommend policies or arrange cover. Where you would like to go further, your enquiry is passed on by hand to a suitable specialist for the service you asked about: an individual contact for insurance enquiries, and an appropriate partner firm for other services. No enquiry is forwarded automatically to a specialist or partner, and only your name, contact details and the service you asked about are passed on.

We do not sell your information. Cromwell Associates may receive a referral payment if you go on to use a service from someone we introduce you to.

This website and the enquiry records behind it are hosted on cloud services acting on our instructions. When an enquiry is received, an internal alert is sent to us containing only a reference number and the time it arrived — never your name, contact details or what you asked about.

We rely on your consent, given when you submit the form, to contact you about your enquiry, and on a separate consent if you opt in to marketing. You may withdraw either at any time by contacting us. Marketing is never a condition of dealing with your enquiry.

Enquiries that do not go any further are reviewed at six months. Where there is no longer a reason to hold them, contact details are deleted at that review. The review is carried out by hand; records are not deleted automatically.

Where an enquiry has led to an ongoing service, or where a record is needed to deal with a complaint or to meet a legal or record-keeping obligation, that record is kept for as long as it is needed for that purpose and no longer.

If you would like your record removed, email enquiries@cromwellcover.co.uk: we will review the request and respond, and will tell you if anything has to be retained.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to object to certain uses of it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
