Protecting the people who depend on you
Cover that keeps a family steady
Life insurance is, in plain terms, an arrangement that may pay a cash sum if you die during the term of the policy — subject to the policy terms, the information given at application and the premiums being maintained. Many policies also include terminal illness benefit, which may allow a claim if a doctor confirms a life expectancy of less than twelve months.
That money is not the point in itself. What matters is what it does: settle a mortgage, replace an income, fund school fees, keep a family in the home they know, or give the people left behind the time to make good decisions rather than fast ones.
Cromwell Associates does not sell policies. One named contact takes time to understand the shape of your commitments, records the relevant details and introduces you to an appropriate specialist, who is responsible for explaining options, advising where authorised, quoting and arranging the cover itself.
Understand before you decide
We explain the difference between the main types of cover in ordinary English, so nothing about your arrangement is a surprise later.
One point of contact
Your named contact coordinates the enquiry from first conversation through to introduction, and stays available as circumstances change.
Considered, not rushed
Substantial or unusual requirements deserve time. We would rather ask more questions than push a quick answer.

Questions
Commonly asked
- How much life insurance might a household need?
- There is no single answer. Most people start with outstanding borrowing, then add an amount to replace lost income for a realistic number of years, and then consider one-off costs such as education. Your named contact will help you think it through before any specialist involvement.
- Does Cromwell Associates arrange the policy itself?
- No. We coordinate your enquiry and introduce you to an appropriate specialist who can advise on, quote for and arrange cover. Acceptance, terms and fees are determined by that specialist or provider.
